At Kamui Vintage, we believe trust is built through clarity, honesty, and fair treatment. Because we sell vintage and antique items—many of which are one of a kind—we aim to be transparent about what we can and cannot guarantee.

Please read the following carefully before making a purchase.

Our Authenticity Guarantee

We guarantee that all items are:

  • Authentic vintage or antique pieces

  • Sourced in Japan

  • Accurately described to the best of our knowledge

We do not sell modern reproductions represented as historical objects.

Descriptions include our honest assessment of age, materials, condition, and any visible flaws. When exact dating or origin cannot be confirmed, this is clearly stated.

Condition Disclosure

All items sold by Kamui Vintage are previously owned and may show signs of age, wear, or use consistent with their history.

We make every effort to:

  • Photograph items clearly from multiple angles

  • Describe chips, cracks, repairs, patina, or wear

  • Avoid exaggeration or concealment

Minor variations in color, texture, or surface wear are normal and should be expected with vintage goods.

Returns Policy

Because of the nature of vintage and antique items, returns are accepted only under the following conditions:

Returns are accepted if:

  • The item arrives significantly not as described

  • There is undisclosed damage not visible in photos or mentioned in the listing

  • The wrong item was sent

Returns are not accepted if:

  • You change your mind

  • You no longer want the item

  • You expected the item to look “new”

  • Minor wear or age-related marks were visible or disclosed

  • Customs fees, taxes, or import duties are incurred

Return Conditions & Process

  • You must contact us within 7 days of delivery

  • Items must be returned in original condition

  • Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility unless the error was ours

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable

  • Items must be securely packaged to prevent damage in transit

Once the returned item is received and inspected, a refund will be issued for the purchase price.

International Shipping & Customs

We ship internationally from Japan.

Please note:

  • Customs duties, VAT, or import taxes are the buyer’s responsibility

  • Shipping delays caused by customs are beyond our control

  • We cannot declare items as gifts or undervalue shipments

Packaging & Care

All items are carefully packed to protect them during transit, using appropriate materials for fragile and vintage objects. If an item arrives damaged due to shipping, please contact us immediately with photos of:

  • The item

  • The packaging

  • The shipping label

This allows us to assist you promptly.

We strongly encourage buyers to ask questions before purchasing, especially regarding:
